Title: Answering Queries Using Pairings
Suppose that the access to a confidential database is protected by an access policy like "Alice may access the name of customers having income equal to 50k$ and age equal to 40." In this talk, we will show preliminary results on defining an efficient cryptographic, attribute-based scheme that enforces policies generalizing the one stated above. Along the way, we will give a brief introduction to the hidden vector encryption scheme, on which our work relies.
