Research Objective:
To invent technologies and systems for supporting various real-time and non-real-time collaboration over the Internet.

Past Achievements:
Innovated 3D Transparent Adaptation (TA) techniques for building real-time collaborative 3D design systems.
Innovated Operational Transformation (OT) techniques for dependency-conflict detection and resolution in real-time collaborative systems.
Innovated novel workspace awareness widgets and supporting techniques for real-time collaborative 3D design over the Internet.
Built CoMaya – the first real-time collaborative 3D design system based on Autodesk Maya.
Built CoVim – the first professional real-time collaborative text editor based on Vim.

Current Work Focus:
Researching into and inventing novel techniques for both real-time and non-real-time synchronization of replicated files in the shared workspace of cloud storages, such as Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.
